This novel made me cry, and I couldn't have the strenght to continue reading the last part after had passed the next week. I value Robert's effort not to bother Francesca. He endured the desire to see her and lived alone until his last days. It was late when Francesca's husband died and she felt free to seek Robert.

I got surprised with Robert's idea of writing a letter to his love, and asking to the mailer to destroy the letter in case they don't find Francesca. He told her that his ashes were sent to the bridge where hey took together their pictures, accompanied by his two cameras he give her as a present.
Francesca then did the same and wrote a letter for her children. This note was found by them in a box after she died and there she told them that he had an "affaire". She asket them her ashes to be sent also in the same bridge.
I still want to cry.
